How I Found the One

Karenscape Photographers is giving away a FREE complete wedding photography package every four months for one year. Karen will personally shoot all three contest winner’s weddings, a value of $9700 per wedding, for FREE.

But this is not a random raffle.

We are searching for the most romantic, serendipitous, poignant, funny, and inspiring stories of how you found the one. Tell us the amazing tale of how you crossed paths with your fiancé in this big crazy world, and you’ll have a chance to win a free wedding. Make us cry. Make us laugh. Make us hope.

How To Enter:
Create a video that is no more than 3 minutes, relaying to us your story. Be as creative or straightforward as you like.

Please label your video Karenscape HIFTO first name last name. So if your name is Jane Clark your video would be called Karenscape HIFTO Jane Clark. Please email us at HIFTO@karenscape.com with the following information when you’ve posted your video:

• Your full name
• Your fiance’s full name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The title of your video
• The link to view your video on YouTube.com

By submitting your video entry to the Karenscape Photographers “How I Found The One” Contest, you are giving Karenscape Photographers permission to use your submission online and in print to promote this and future similar contests.

The deadline for the first contest is April 30th. The winner will be announced May 15th on the Karenscape.com website and blog, and contacted directly.

Contest Details: The winner will receive the following:

• *8 hours of coverage by Karen Gordon and a second shooter
• *The best 400 images from your day, lovingly opened and retouched until it sings, and presented as 4x6 prints set in an elegant Hudson album
• *The best 400 images posted online, making it easy for you and your friends and family to view, share and order prints of your favorite images
• *Your digital negatives of ALL the images from your ENTIRE wedding (all 1500 + images—usually as much as 2000!) as high-resolution files on DVD. And, a digital catalog for easy multi-platform viewing
• *A fully designed wedding album slideshow set to the music of your first dance, posted so soon after your wedding you may still be lounging on the beach when you receive it. And if you like the design on the slideshow, ordering the album is a snap (albums are not included in the package and are an additional cost).
• *A blog entry of our favorite images posted just days after your wedding
• *Phenomenal service from beginning to end
• *One of the fastest turnaround times in the industry

If your wedding is more than 75 miles outside of Manhattan, travel fees will apply. Depending on the distance, you may be responsible for providing moderate hotel accommodations, airfare, car rental, and other miscellaneous reasonable travel expenses. There are no tax charges. If the contest winner’s wedding date is already set and falls on a day in which Karen is already booked, you will receive an alternate Karenscape Photographer to photograph your event, or you may reschedule your wedding date. Contest winners are required to sign the standard wedding photography contract.
